Artistic Glass Table Lamp

A glass table lamp treats the shade as the object: a clear body with green decorative detailing that catches daylight long before it does any lighting at all. It is the kind of piece that justifies itself on a console or a bedside in the middle of the afternoon, which is more than most lamps manage. At night the glass diffuses the source into a soft, low-contrast glow. Decorative lamps have to hold attention unlit, which is where most of them fail.

The lamp holder is glass, and at 320 by 430 millimetres the piece has enough presence for a console or a bedside without crowding either. It runs at 220 volts, carries an ambient light function for low-level evening use, and holds 3C certification. The style is deliberately simple so the green detailing carries the interest on its own. The ambient function keeps a low glow running without lighting the room properly, useful late in the evening.

Beside a bed it gives the last light of the evening without the hard edge of a directional lamp. On a living room console it works as a decorative object that happens to light the wall behind it. DecorNestHub supplies it ready to plug in, with no assembly required. Glass also shows dust less readily than a fabric shade in a room with an open window.
