Handcrafted Luminous Glass Vase

A luminous glass vase turns a dark room into something quieter and stranger. Its glow-in-the-dark finish takes in daylight and releases it slowly after dusk, so the shape stays visible long after the lamps go off. By day it is simply a piece of tinted or clear glass; by night it becomes the reason a bedroom shelf is worth looking at. Objects that change between day and night are rare and worth having on a shelf that is always visible.

The body is glass in an irregular spiral form, polished and finished with inkjet printing. Options are glow-in-the-dark, pink glow, milk white or white. Each piece is purely handmade, which is why the spiral varies slightly between vessels, and it arrives packed in a carton. The glow relies on daylight exposure rather than any power source. Handmade spirals vary between pieces, so no two vases carry exactly the same twist.

On a bedroom shelf it reads as sculpture whether it holds stems or not. Placed where it catches daylight through the day, it charges naturally and glows through the evening. Handle it as you would any glass vessel, keeping it back from the edge of a surface. DecorNestHub supplies each piece boxed. Position it where daylight reaches it, as the glow depends entirely on how much light it absorbs.
