Coiled rope warms the light
Looks as good unlit as lit
Compact, for a crowded side table
Description
A hemp rope table lamp wraps its shade in coiled natural rope, which breaks the LED output into a warm, textured light. It answers the need for a side lamp that contributes material interest as well as illumination. Rope is a forgiving material in a room full of hard surfaces, absorbing light rather than reflecting it back, and it keeps the lamp looking handmade rather than moulded. Natural fibres are among the few shade materials that look as good unlit as lit.
The base is metal with a hemp rope shade, measuring 18 centimetres in diameter by 29 tall, running at 220 volts. Light options are warm or white, and colours come in smoke grey or amber. A simple button switch handles it, so there is nothing to pair or configure. The compact footprint suits a crowded side table. The metal base keeps the centre of gravity low despite the light rope shade above it.
In a living room it sits well next to natural materials such as timber, linen and wool. On a bedside it gives a low, warm light without the glare of an exposed shade. The rope wrapping also softens the sound of the room fractionally. DecorNestHub supplies it fully assembled. Amber warms the output further; smoke grey keeps it closer to neutral.

Frequently Asked Questions
How big is it?
18 centimetres in diameter by 29 tall, which is small enough for a side table that already has things on it.
Smoke grey or amber?
Amber warms the output further. Smoke grey keeps it closer to neutral, which suits a room that already has plenty of warm tones.
Will it tip over?
No. The metal base keeps the centre of gravity low despite the light rope shade above it.
How is it switched?
A simple button switch, with nothing to pair or configure. It arrives fully assembled.
Does the rope shade do anything besides look good?
It softens the light, and it softens the sound of the room fractionally too, which is a small bonus in a space with hard floors.
