A self-adhesive wall mirror goes up without a drill, a wall plug or a conversation with a landlord. Its acrylic panel presses onto the supplied backing tape and holds flat against a smooth wall or a wardrobe door. Rented flats, wardrobe interiors and plasterboard that will not take a fixing are exactly where a conventional mirror becomes a problem and this one does not. Adhesive mirrors are the only option in many rented flats and student rooms.
The panel is acrylic rather than glass, frameless, with rounded corner or right angle options, in sizes from 20 by 20 centimetres up to 80 by 180. Acrylic is shatter resistant, which is the other reason it suits a bedroom or a hallway where a full glass panel would be a risk. The adhesive backing is supplied with the mirror. Acrylic weighs a fraction of glass at the same size, which is what allows adhesive mounting at all.
