Sweep second hand, no ticking
Wood dial, warmer than printed metal
Framed or frameless, your call
Description
A living room wall clock earns its place by being readable across the room and inaudible from the sofa. This one runs on a sweep-second quartz movement, so the hand glides rather than steps and the room stays quiet enough for reading or sleeping. It is the version of this object you can actually live with in a space where people sit still for long stretches. Sweep movements cost slightly more than stepped ones and are worth it in any room used for sitting still.
The dial is wood behind an organic glass lens, at 30 or 35 centimetres in diameter, using a silent quartz movement, model canovoe316. The display is analogue with numeric indicators, which keeps it legible from a distance rather than merely decorative. It is offered framed or frameless, so it can read as a piece of furniture or as bare numerals on the wall. Organic glass is lighter than mineral glass and will not shatter if the clock is knocked off a wall.
Wood keeps the face warmer in tone than a printed metal dial and works alongside timber furniture rather than against it. In a study the same clock stays readable from a desk without becoming a distraction. DecorNestHub supplies it ready to hang, battery powered. The frameless version reads as numerals floating on the wall rather than as a hung object.

Frequently Asked Questions
30 or 35 centimeters in diameter, with an analog face and numeric indicators that stay legible from across a room.
¿Enmarcado o sin enmarcar?
Framed reads as a piece of furniture on the wall. Frameless reads as numerals floating on the plaster, which suits a plainer room.
¿El lente es de cristal?
It is organic glass, which is lighter than mineral glass and won't shatter if the clock is knocked off the wall.
¿Cómo se alimenta?
By battery, and it comes ready to hang.
