Description
A dandelion pendant light suspends a sphere of crystal strands from a slim iron frame, so the fitting reads as a burst of light rather than a solid shade. It fills the awkward volume above a dining table without the mass of a conventional fixture, which is what makes it usable in a room with a normal ceiling height rather than only in a stairwell. The frame is iron carrying crystal strands, from 35 to 60 centimetres in diameter depending on the model, with six to sixteen light heads and between 18 and 86 strands. Finishes are gold or chrome, and the height adjusts by up to half a metre. The crystal does the work a shade normally would, refracting the output outward across the ceiling and walls.
