Description
A no-wiring LED wall light is for walls you cannot or will not chase open. It mounts to the surface and runs at low voltage, so a rented bedroom, a plastered feature wall or a finished hallway can gain proper bedside lighting without an electrician and without a channel cut into the plaster. Nothing is permanent beyond the fixings, which makes it a practical choice for a flat you do not own. Low-voltage running also means the fitting stays cool enough to sit close to a headboard or a pillow.
The arm is iron with an acrylic shade, in gold or black, and comes in three lengths: 320, 500 and 650 millimetres. The LED takes an E27 base and runs at up to 36 volts, with a rated life of around 40,000 hours, so it is unlikely to need attention for years. Surface mounting means the whole job is a matter of a few screws and a level. The three lengths let it read as a compact bedside light or as a full architectural bar along a wall.
