Description
A resin LED wall light is a compact sconce for walls that need light without bulk. Mounted at head height it lights the wall itself, which is what keeps a narrow room from reading like a tunnel. The sculpted form gives the fixture some presence when it is switched off, so it is not simply a blank shape waiting for dark. Resin allows a moulded shape that pressed metal cannot manage at this price.
Both the shade and the body are moulded resin, which keeps the whole fitting light enough to mount on plasterboard without special fixings. Colours are white, orange, grey or green. The LED is not included, and 110 volt versions offer white, warm or three-colour output, so the light can be matched to the room after installation rather than before. Leaving the lamp unsupplied lets the colour temperature be chosen once the wall colour is known.
In a bedroom it sits above a nightstand without protruding into the walking space beside the bed. In a corridor it gives a soft wash at intervals rather than a hard spot.
